Jon Willis showed incredible bravery and determination to win the most fiercely contested Epee A grade of the fencing calendar in Heidenheim. All of the words top fencers were there and he took down many of the greats on his way to victory. One athlete said "there are three great competitions, the Olympics, the World Championships and the Heidenheim" for Jon to have won in the face of such stiff opposition is a great feat. Leon Paul has won the bid to provide the fencing equipment for the 2007 UK school games. Leon Paul provided the equipment for the 2006 School Games and the organisers were impressed enough to continue the partnership.
