Can anyone help me with this?

When I registered I set email notification to 'yes' in my profile, but now I've decided I want to turn it off. I've set it to 'no' now, but the emails still keep coming anyway! ANyone know what I'm doing wrong?

I will see if I can stop it.

The easiest thing to do would be to block it from your mail server.
Or I could change your e-mail address to blank as you already have a password?

Hmm - not sure my email programme has a filter, I'll try and work it out. Deleting my email address is also an option, if there's no other way!

I am finding out today from a friend who has been doing this for a while.:)

I turned my notifications off before the weekend and the immediately stopped being sent. It sounds like there is some sort of bug in your account because there is no reason that turning them off shouldn't work. If the worst comes to the worst we could just give you a new account?

I worked out that if I don't subscribe to any threads, I don't get the emails. So that's what I've done. I just have to check what's new a different way but that's okay.:)

On the main page there is a view new posts button in the top right that will show you each thread that has been posted in since you last visited the forum.
