Excellent - both interview very well. Next stop "Question of Sport"? :grin:

Was a little disturbed about the "most people are still from public schools". I agree that the representation is high, but not sure it is that bad (at least outside of the London area).

Pleasure to listen to both of them - well done :)

I think that he will well deserve retirement by then and his body will thank him too (after many years of incredibly serious training, competing AND three Olympics). He will still be young and retiring will give him the opportunity to concentrate on his career and other things too.

Of course, he may get to 2012 and think.... oh, just one more Olympics :)

I could be wrong, but I imagine that a few will be retiring after 2012...

I could be wrong, but I imagine that a few will be retiring after 2012... And hopefully a couple of those would consider taking up coaching when/if they have the time. Let's face it, they'll have more experience of what it's like at the top than pretty much anyone else. :)
