Apparantly they can't fill seats for events at the Olympics

Then fencing was practically 100% ful all the tiime and the audiences were fantastic in their support even when China did not fence.

They made a superb effort to get people in as we will do in 2012.WE need every fencer to watch the Olympics and bring friends, local schools etc.

I'll be there - not as a fencer obviously, but maybe I'll try and get my refereeing up to the sufficient standard in my gap and the other years preceding. If not, spectator I shall be :)

The under performing sports including FENCING will be the first have their budget cut due to the 100m short fall in funding :eek:
