Corinna Lawrence has made the Final of the event and has an Italian to fence.

Next best British result was Abini who Corinna knocked out in the last 8.

Corinna just lost to World Number 10 and last years winner Margherita Guzzi 15-11.

This result should push her up into the top 20 of the World rankings again.

Guzzi must have thought she was in the wrong country having to put out Thomas, Chang, Radford, Clark and Lawrence in consecutive rounds to win the title!

Well done girls, valuable JWC points for seeding for Belfast.

Didn't Jade Clark reach the semi finals?

I stand corrected, I blame 2nd hand info.

Well done to all the girls for their results. These will really help their seedings for future WC events.

Geez, all three fenced each other in the DEs, long way to go to meet each other.

...but not unusual, I'm afraid: Boy and Jamie Melia met in either the last 64 or 32 one year.....and they were at uni together too!!

Well done boys: a great 8th place for Gareth. Those points will help so much in the rest of the A grades;)

Well done Gareth. A pretty good weekend for the Redhill and Reigate fencers abroad.

2nd for Corinna and L8 for Garath at the A-Grade, really great going. These results will ceratinly help first round seedings at the Junior Europeans in a couple of weeks time...
