I am pleased to announce that Jimi Thornton, one of our top National epeeists and Commonwealth Gold medallist will be attending this academy and doing some guest coaching for epee fencers! I would also like to welcome back Donnie McKenzie who will be leading foil and Chris Farren leading sabre.

The programme for this session:-
• Video analysis and review
• Level 2 S+C
• Nutrition and hydration
• Structured training and sparring

It is the aim for each fencer to take away video footage showing a current technique stage that will enable you to discuss with your coaches back home and a performance point for future reviews!

Remember, coaches are also welcome to attend the Academy. This is a chance to discuss any aspect of the Academy programme with the coaching staff and lecturers and is free professional development!

This and the next academy is holding a Go Fence course for teachers and sports coaches so if you know of anybody who would be interested to get on the first step of coaching fencing with plastic swords. Application form for the 26th June (http://www.fencingnortheast.org/Cour...%2006%2011.pdf)
