Can anyone help me find some video?

I saw it on the forum about a month ago, 2 fencers on a running track
indoors working on routines involving squats side lunges then step lunges; great speed and flexibility.

Thank you

I have the DVD of these exercises, Italian and there are some tremendous 'eye-watering' plyometric routines in this. Bob Jameson gave it to me a few years ago.

Is the dvd findable, I wouldn't mind having a copy of that. I would like to see a development plan that leads up to being able to do those exercise. Although I think with my knees that might need a small miracle:whistle:

I could probably copy it, though I'm sure it'll be copy write protected. The DVD works through a range of routines of increasing difficulty, many requiring precise hand and foot co-ordination.

I could probably copy it, but you probably shouldn't. :p

Allstar UK used to sell the DVD but their site no longer lists it, or else I just failed to find it. You could contact them and see if they have it in stock or can get it in. The German Allstar sites does list the DVD "Gymnastics for fencing" or "La Ginnastica per la Scherma."

Yes, that's the one. I am sure if you asked Bob he'd get it for you. Also, there are quite a few clips on YouTube of Italian footwork/exercises that have many of the same characteristics, some of these I am sure are in my 'favourites' on my YouTube channel (see below for link)............I am sure we should all pay some attention to what the Italians do. I have been having some discussions via the internet with some Italian coaches, including Tomasini!! I have found this very, very productive and gained a lot of different ideas relating to the tactical use of footwork and foot tempo actions....I am becoming more and more convinced that this is where it's at!

Not sure about this being any good! It's bad for the knees!
