Just a quick comment - the numbers of competitors are very small. Do we really not have more wheelchair fencers ?

There are a few names missing from the list due to injury or unavailability for the weekend, but the numbers are very low - it's something we're working on. The problem is finding clubs that have a frame - they're expensive & BDFA has only so many to spread around the country- and coaches willing to take on wheelchair fencers, although this is becoming much less of a problem.

I will shortly be emailing all clubs to find out about facilities and availability of spaces for wheelchair fencers so that I have up to date information for people who wish to start.

I look forward to compiling a large, positive list! :-)
