technical question - is paralympic (wheelchair) sport funded from other sources?

I am assuming that the bid was put through with an idea of the fencers involved and where they will be training. I presume they will not all be required to up sticks and relocate to Lee Valley? If I have any idea at all of the level of detail needed by UKS then Alex will have had to dot tall the 'i's and cross all the 't's in triplicate.

Will be interesting to see who takes this up. Potential in 2020 puts an age limit on it straight away, but some good results might well unlock some more funding places.

Fencing: Another that has disappointed Sport England, but it has still been awarded £1.33m. That covers £250,000 to support participations programmes, a £750,000 investment in talent over three years and £330,000 for core costs over the same period.
