On the old Leon Paul masks, didnt they have a coloured washer or something on top that distinguised there size? If i'm right what colour is what?

I'm gettin a new LP mask and they say try your clubs one for sizing but to be awkward they just got a coloured thing on top....grrrr

Yellow is small, Blue is medium, Red is large and black is extra large. All non electric sabre LP masks still have these on also if there is a washer on the mesh of a electric sabre mask it is large.

Same colour coding as on the aluminiun pistol grips (except yellow sometimes mutates to green on those).

I think the even older masks have a shaped rivet - square, circle etc, to denote the size.

Ah that could be the washer that is stuck on electric sabre masks and also i think is used in the factory to donate size.

Sqare = small
None = Medium
One round = large
Two round = x-large

Is that the same as the washers that are attached to sabre masks then?

Same on all LP masks, on the top to the right.

Take one medium sized head.

If the mask is too small, the mask is size small.
too big, then it's a size large
the right size: a medium.

Voila...

Carrying around a medium-sized head in your fencing kit tends to get questions asked...

Hmmm and can some one work out why electric sabre masks seemto be a "tighter" fit than normal masks?

Perhaps it's because it will hurt less if you are hit on the head if the mask is tight (not that it hurts anyway).
