Brilliant! To beat Wang is a bit good. Hopefully he can keep going. Wessels is out already as well!

I've been using the Olympics site to keep track of thins. It's actually very good. My only complaint is the speed of the updates (should be real time but isn't).

From 13-14 down he has won 15 -14 with 19 secs to go in the first period.

His next fight is Cassara of Italy at 11:40 UK time.

Halsted told me to find a bookies and put some money on him but when Ladbrooks wouldn't take a bet I gave up.

Wish I had persevered!

Last 16 so far:

Cassara (ITA) beat Park (KOR) 15-13

Joppich (GER) beat Choi (KOR) 15-10

I'm far to slow at this, ignore me!

Unfortunately Cassara just beat him 15-8
great match, especially against some one as good as Cassara who is the number one seed.

Still its a great day for British fencing
