Ooooh, a wetsuit! Tempting just to turn up on a piste in it

Not really a wetsuit Aoife. Wetsuits tend to be made of Neoprene and the oler ones of rubber or a mix of both and unless I'm very much mistaken there's no real sort of seal whatsoever on that item. Also I've never seen wetsuits with a crotch strap. You get all body with short or long legs, some don't have arms, etc. You even occaisionally get the odd jacket and trousers as a pair rather than an all-in-one. I'd say more it ahs mroe of a leotard shape than wetsuit. My reaosning on this, i've been kayaking for years been on club committees etc. and have never seen a wetsuit like it.

But going fencing in my wetsuit could be funny. I've been out drinking in it at Sports Nights at Birmingham Uni Guild before and always had quite a laugh but you do get very hot very quickly.

Yeah, thinking about it, it does appear to be lycra. The colour must have thrown me :)

What is THAT??

I asked the seller, and they assured me it was a fencing jacket, and had been bought as such.

I'd say it could be coaches' kit, but it looks way too thin.

Looked up the manafacturer 'Likito' on Google; and there's nothing there (just lots and lots of people called Likito).

I think it should stay in the garden... think I could fit one of my blades through the mesh without actually damaging it!:)
