Thanks for everyones suggestions our "expert" pannel has decided as follows:

Best thread:
Which thread do you think has been the most informative, interesting, or just useful, thread of the last year.
Winner goes to Keith Smith for his Ryanair Thread (http://fencingforum.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=6307&highlight=ryanair) which was a faboulous outcome to what could have been a really awkward situation.

Best contribution:
Who has contributed the most usefully over the last year. Who has said the most interesting things, passed on the most wisdom or been the best commentator?
Goes to Vil's NIF calculator (http://fencingforum.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=5865&highlight=calculator) which is a really great resource. Thanks for your efforts Vil!

Best single contribution
Which one post or comment, best encapsulates what it means to be part of the 'online' fencing community? Was it advice, sarcasm, hard headed common sense - which post sums it all up?
Goes to the hysterically funny Leicester post (http://fencingforum.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=5858&perpage=15&pagenumber=2) by NLSC Sabreur I think that single post got more laughs than any other in the forum's history!

Wooden Spoon
This is a bit of fun. Who, which, where, when - is/was the most stupid comment, or overall daftest contributor, of the last year. The winner gets a Leon Paul goodie bag. No one is sure what will be in this bag, but it will be ... interesting.
Winner goes to......
Drum roll....

madfencer (http://fencingforum.com/forum/member.php?s=&action=getinfo&userid=638) for her 1191 interesting, informative and insightful  posts!

Winners PM me and I will arrange prizes.

Thanks to all of the forums members for their contributions. We are really pleased that the forum has become such a useful and active part of fencing.
