OK I belive I am only missing the Brixton results which I should have by the end of the week.
Please note that some people have 21 points instead of 22 I will correct them on the next update.
The ID numbers are working well but as I only managed to start the new system/program half way through the season so I am still using the old Excel sstem which is why I am being slower than I should be. By next year we should have a full working system that will be 100% correct if ID numbers are used and results are sent in the correct format.

Hi KK

Thanks very much for the update. The rankings for U17 Boy's Epee seem to be scrambled, hope this can be fixed. Otherwise sounds great that there will be a new system.

Just need Brixton results and will update again.

Thanks for the updated rankings Kingkenny but there still seems to be errors in boys foil. U15 Tom HENDRIE won both Eton, Sherwood and Portsmouth. You seem to have acredited Tom Harris with both Eton & Sherwood.
U13 boys seems to have no rhyme or reason.

I am sure the results for the girls U15 foil at Sherwood are incorrect. Would it be possible to check back with them to confirm the results? (My daughter is ranked higher than she should be as a result of the error so she may not thank me for pointing it out!)

must say the U13 boys foil is a mess any chance of a correction!! It took me ages to find my boy!! I know its a pain in the **** to do this but the kids do like it.

I'm afraid that the comments are correct, there are a number of errors spread across a number of age groups and that is just the foil.

I know it is a difficult business, but it is important to get it right.

Thought I'd posted this, but 'praps not, big fingies.
The sabre U-17 is in a bit of a state, not too bad that I can see, but I think it's mainly 'cos people aren't using the ID numbers - which honestly aren't rocket science, and are detailed on every entry (I think).

Any chance of results of the Cornwall competition 3-4 weeks ago?

Waiting for them in the correct format expecting it any day now.

Not sure when the results for the Cornwall LPJS went up but they don't look right. I am pretty sure that there were more than 7 entries in the under 15 boys!

It also looks as though the results have not been taken into the main rankings properly as there seem to be fencers appearing more than once with their Cornwall results not being added to the totals already there.

Sorry to be a pain but is there any chance of cleaning this up or is it beyond repair now?

According to oldest son...

Tom Hendrie won (U-15 Boys foil) Sherwood, Eton, Portsmouth and Cornwall (= 100 points - well done him!). Some of the confusion has been because some of his results were listed under Thomas Harris (who only ever entered Wrexham?)

Albert came 6th at Eton, 7th at Portsmouth, 10th at Scotland and equal 3rd at Cornwall (=74 points?).

Kati Cohen-Gorden's total should be 89 points (because his equal 3rd result for Wrexham should be 22 points not 21).

Hope this helps.

Just out of interest, I see there were three 2nd places @ Thameside - and in the wrong order anyway !
Apart from the incorrect id thingy, what is the problem with results ? Surely organizers get the results sheets back to L.P. - or don't they ?!

And while I'm here, anyone noticed how well supported the U-17 "Young Men's" (tee-hee) Sabre is this year ? After recent years, I don't think it has ever been the smallest entry on the day, I might be wrong. Down, I think , to this batch of lads getting on really well, and just enjoying fighting each other.

I notice the Leistershire Amberton foil results are now posted on the site.

Whilst Casey Avrils ranking (U13 Boys foil) in this competiton is correct, 8th, this has been posted separately in the overall rankings. Casey now appears in position in positon 14 and 35

Could you pleae combine his Leistershire result with his others in the overall ranking

Thanks

Edward Sibert Should also be on one more point because his 3rd place at Ashton has been given 21 not 22 points (giving him a total of 91 points Sherwood 23, Ashton 22, Eton 23 and Durham 23). Still keeps him in 4th sport, but does make a difference if he pulls out all the stops and wins Cambridge!!
