Hi guys,

Is there any news on when the SASF teams will be? It should be up in Aberdeen, no? When though?! So very exciting considering the violence and table breaking and disorderly nature of the Doric night out!

Hi Lucan,

AGM is on the 18th October (after the BUSA Team Qualifiers). I am intriged as to why you have an interest in attending the AGM... as last year I believe SF directors were invited but showed no interest in attending at all?

Are there any current matters you would like to be attended to?

I would like to attend as I felt that some students because they were
not members of Scottish Fencing last year and therefor could not attend
Opens and had no British Ranking points missed out on:

1. Being selected to go to India for the Junior Commonwealths
2. Being selected to go to Cork with the Scottish B Team (On St Patrick
Day)
3. Training with the Scottish Team.
4. Being asked to go with Salle Ecosse to team events.
5. Good fencing and good fun.

Also, do you want to know how your money is used by SF and BFA?

Hmm... you could be on to something Lucan - however... I am not aware of any students of a high standard who are not members of SF. The SUS, BUSA and Student 5 Nations Teams all require competitiors to be members of SF.

If you would like to be formally written into the agenda of the AGM (which incidently is on the 28th Nov NOT 18th) send me an email (or PM) and that will be no problem whatsoever.

Cheers,

MTF

Providing that no one breaks any marble tables thus sparking a confrontation with the bouncers...however that would be no fun whatsoever.

When will the entries be sent round, do you know?

Thanks!

I intend to go a fencing night out in Aberdeen without being kicked out a pub this year.
