I have had a suggestion that I look at linking my competition map on the BFNWR web site to the calendar on this site.

Its a good suggestion, but I think implementing it as suggested would be significantly tricky. What might be better is to implement the Google maps API directly on this site. I would happily hand over all the location data that I have.

So, is this a possibility and if it is, who would do it?

Well, unless there's a module currently available in the community, someone would have to write the interface, probably in PHP.

I'd have a go, but don't have time at the moment...

As it goes we are looking at linking this forum into a far mor comprehensive community site based on a different CMS that can intrerface with VB. We should be able to get a whole bunch of useful features for distributing info about events etc...

Watch this space :)

If it's not a secret, which CMS?

http://drupal.org/

not the easiest in the world to implement but very powerful.

Drupal is pretty good.

I'm using vBadvanced - easy to install and has very nice vBulletin integration (well, it should as it was written for it!).

In it's base version, not as powerful as Drupal, but plenty of mods available.
