Well done people! I even saw matt Fittion today and tlked to him a bit, but he didn't say a thing about it and i didn't know untill i lookoed at the thread just now!

Congratulations to both.

I don't know Sophie but I met Matthew and his parents at the Glasgow. He's a very nice lad and fenced very very well and consistently to get top seeding going into the DE's. The main reason he lost his 2nd (?) DE is that he met someone much larger with a much longer arm who took line immediately after the word play and just held it on most hits.
