I'm not sure why anyone would pick a squirrel as their emotional support animal... . Or even know that that means.

she said one of her exams had changed date - guess you have to trust her at her word, but quite annoying

spread the word, we have two good WF's on the team who are all booked to go and fence in inverclyde and the quad - have to do what we can to get a full team out

    hope you can help....

we have lost one of our WF - at this stage it will be virtually impossible to fill the gap....do you know anyone who would like to represent ireland for the Quad match??
  6. Fair enough. I will certainly be around this year. No idea what the entertainment plans are for the night after yet!

well, picking-up on an idea I found on this forum, when I became a selector in January I insisted that provisional team selection be made 2 months in advance of the fixture, with a finalised team about a month in advance...we actually had all the teams bar one place on both WF and MF confirmed 2 weeks go and the guys had already begun to book flights.

I wasn;t really involved last year, but this year the team is largelly my baby - it's young but has a few potential stars, so hopefully they'll do OK.
  8. That, I don't know... Information is a bit short on the ground.

when is the scots team being announced?

no, not at all - in fact this is quite a legitimate team

Alex is a young lad who is fencing at Trinity - I have only spoken to him once but I think he grew-up in the UK.

M.E team could be interesting - you know Colm, but the other two lads are his team mates in Trinity and together they recently won the Irish University championships...so whilst on paper a weaker team than last year, they fence well together and are in form,
