Loads of lames are off.
Some by a few inches, some where I would suspect the intention of the fencer.
There appears to be less bikini-lames in foil at least than there used to be.
Ask your coach.
Where are you training?
Correct.
Sheffield would like to add their thanks for an excellent day's fencing.
Thanks to all.
Ron,
there's a low likelihood of board members reading and acknowledging posts. Unfortunately, repeat posting in this way only serves to bang a drum and preach to the converted.
If you want to...
A bath, a mild detergent, then hang to dry naturally.
You can detect the sarcasm in the tone, right?
Client/Server arch was always my plan for a replacement competition system. Good to see Fencing Time has gone down this route. (Although I'm...

I don't care if it's tabular data. It's 2013 people! I demand it all being rendered on HTML 5 Canvas!
I have no intention of doing so.
I like Under Armour if I'm fencing or training. Some people like compression shirts, others hate them. For me, there's a benefit.
It's a small point, but I'd also recommend (if you've not worked...
Okay then, don't.
There's method in the madness, it may not be a method you agree with. I've not got the confidence to give a lesson without a mask, and the idea alone gives me the willies. Like...
Conductive pistes for sabre can go and politely hang ;-)
Give us a nice floor, well laid out floor markings and we're more than happy.
I'm with the Colonel. Scrap the cotton.
This I liked.
I had a play with one of these in the hand, and it's a very positive experience. I'm not the target market, but if you are a dedicated pommeler of fashion, and didn't like the bulk of the carbon...
I'm glad to see it was handled. Last I heard of it, there was a slightly sore member of the warm-up team who had just had a bit of a bollocking for interrupting a lesson.
And the way it was...

I am curious though - the weapon shows a three pin socket, but the spool...
But I bet their balance is superb.
There should be a /few/ entries coming in from Sheffield.
Yep. Although the FIE rules now stipulate that at FIE events, fencers must at least be wearing a mask and glove. Really, someone from the FIE should have had a word after the volunteer was told to...
This is the crux of the problem. There may be genuine issues, but we are back to the transparency of BF in communicating with its membership base.
I admit that I have *no* idea what's going on in MF. It's not my weapon, and from the outside looking in, it most certainly looks odd. Ziamek appeared to be getting progress and some results, and...
Trufax. I've always been taught to not over-tighten the nut, in case of stripping the thread or somehow otherwise damaging the blade. If LP say to go-to-town on it, then that I shall.
Yes. Lots. But you already know that.
Does this particular technique benefit fencers in the UK? Probably.
Does the benefits of the technique outweigh the risks? That's a decision between...
