Quick bump!
Closing date 23rd November or an extra £8 up unto the 4th Dec
Thanks
We have been asked if we can accept a reduced entry fee for a fencer entering two weapons. We have agreed that an entry for two weapons (NB Not on the same day) will be accepted by post with a cheque for £36. We will refund £8 on the dayto those who have already paid an entry for two weapons at the full rate.
Please send in your entries this week to avoid the late entry fees. It's helps us and is cheaper for you.
Note that unless you sent your entry by post you might not yet be on the check your entry lists.

The entry list doesn't include entries made through Leon Paul yet, so there should be more entries than shown including my own for Epee.
could you give a rough idea of the overall numbers?

Very pleased to see there may be more than 3 of us in Women's Sabre...
We have 85 excluding any online entries since the weekend. At this stage that suggests we will have similar numbers or better than we have had for the past two years when we were well over 200. It’s less than we had in past years before there were so many events competing for the same weekend and before Opens stopped being nominated for Cadets and only two are nominated for Juniors.

I hope the organisers are going to update the Open site on a regular basis with Leon Paul entries? Because at the moment the WF isn't any where near where it needs to be to start enticing fencers in the North to do the trek. WF has been in a slow decline at this event over the last few years. Hopefully there'll be a surge of entries, but please keep your website updated.
Allstar Cup site was great, instant updates on entrants, well done.
Two years ago we had snow which cut the numbers. We also had a clash with the FIE Calendar which placed the Eden Cup Junior Foil World Cup on the first weekend December where it remains as does the Leon Paul Cup and the Newham Swords event. This year we learned that the Vets were celebrating their 25th on first weekend December. Taken all together we took the opportunity to move to second weekend. That also enabled us to move to a bright modern venue with 8 widely spaced badminton courts in one hall where we can comfortably fit 18 carpet pistes. The change of weekend has also meant more foil referees have accepted our invitations. Sadly we can do little about the economy or the general decline in numbers attending 6W Opens. Instead we have tried to keep our fees down but we have not cut the quality of medals for the top four or the tee shirts for the eight finalists at each weapon.
We aim to deliver a well run and enjoyable event as we have done for many years. Our IT skills do not match those of the Allstar Cup, so we are sorry it will be early next week before the full list of online entries from Leon Paul is included. The prime purpose of the check your entry is to reassure those who entered by post that their entry has been received and nearer the event an opportunity for all to check their details and ranking which will be added as soon as possible after the 1st December rankings are available. There Leon Paul portal will be accepting normal rate entries until first thing Monday and postal entries arriving by post on or before next Tuesday will be accepted at the normal rate - that should take into account those who forget to enter and find that after Saturday morning postal collections there is no hope of a delivery before Tuesday. (Now there’s a service that has declined!). After that there is one week for late entries at £30 per event until Tuesday 4th December.

Hi one4all,
I've sent you a few messages which have either gone astray or you haven't answered. Any chance of getting back to me before the entry deadline?
Thanks.
Apologies for the delay. I have now replied to your e-mail.
