Seeing as someone has mentioned Slough, could someone tell a not particularly experienced competitive fencer why the Slough Open is not in Slough? Or even in Berkshire?![]()

Maybe instead of separating fencers in the preliminary rounds of competitions by club affiliation, we should do it by religion?
Imagine the discussions in the pub after the competition.
