    Default La Corunna and Ghent

Good luck to the Men's Foilists and Women's Sabreurs competing this weekend.

Best wishes for both the individual and team events.

Does any body know where or if it is possible to watch either of the events live online? or at least have live scoring updates?

I've been asking around and so far I've drawn a blank. If anyone find anything I'd like to know.

Here's a link to La Coruna's site: La Coruna - I think it still has the results from last year on it (which is confusing).

Yep I noticed. I did actually sit here for a couple of moments wondering whether I had lost the plot.

Can you change the title of the thread too, Gav? T'would help the 'enthusiasts' of each weapon go straight to the right thread!

From Rhys' Facebook - he is through to the L64 having won only 2 fights in the poules but a good victory in the L96.

Any news on who they've drawn?

Is there a website working yet?

And for those who sent comments to me that they were suprised of my seeing Mepsteads last result as promising, it's good to see him in the L64!!!

Again from Rhys on Facebook - he has Baldini!

Good to see 4x64, but top 16 and above will be good results.

    MF clearly our strongest weapon.

Good luck to all four tomorrow.

L64 courtesy of BF on twitter:
    Mepstead v Osmanski (POL)
    Davis v Yunes (UKR)
    Kruse v Lecocq (FRA)
    Melia v Baldini (ITA)

Also, looks like a decent team for Sunday. Seeing as there's no Rosowsky, any thoughts on who to pick between Mepstead and Melia to make up the starting three?

I think I expect somewhat different goals Keith.

    RK - L16 reasonable L8 Good
    JD - L32 reasonable L16 Good
    RM & MM - L64 reasonable L32 Good

    Anything above these, GREAT.

I think you have to have different, realistic goals for different levels of fencers.

    Go get 'em guys!!!!
