Default British Junior and Cadet Championships 2014

Has anyone heard where the U20 and U17 Championships are to be held in February 2014?

Given the debacle last year over finding a suitable venue (or should that be unsuitable?), it would be rather nice to know, for long term planning, what British Fencing have booked up for us in the coming year.

“Live a good life. If there are gods and they are just, then they will not care how devout you have been, but will welcome you based on the virtues you have lived by. If there are gods, but unjust, then you should not want to worship them. If there are no gods, then you will be gone, but will have lived a noble life that will live on in the memories of your loved ones.”

    Well spotted.

Details to follow I see. It would be really good to see those details sooner rather than later to give a chance of booking reasonably priced London hotel accommodation. And in light of other discussions around entry fees, to make sure that the whole weekend is affordable.

    Default hotels

There are lots of reasonably priced hotels in the area, including Premier Inn, Ramada, Ibis at the Excel Centre, just a few minutes away, and a Travel lodge at London City Airport, also very nearby.

Had a quick look this morning, and there are some good deals on at the moment, if you pay upfront.

However .... If check in is set at 10am for some weapons (for example) you might not need a hotel, where 8.30am you would. And in the current financial climate for BF, entry costs might be a tad higher than last year - all of which might make one day preferable to two - where you have that option.

Its much easier to plan when you have all of the detail, and as this is an annual event, with predictable numbers, one might hope that level of info can come out sooner rather than later.
