    Default World Championships

Just a quick good luck to the old guys heading out to the World Championships this weekend in Stralsund.

Was hoping to be out there fencing you, but a glitch has prevented me attending.

Don't beat up on the Americans too much!!

I have to hand it to the Germans.

Live result fed is excellent and the promise of live streaming looks good. Men's foil over 60s; 3 to last 16 with a Bartlett v Wedge match and Graham Paul v a Japanese

over 70s men's foil; Brian Causton through to L16

WOMENS EPEE .50 ; Marge Oniye and Denise Silk about to fight for the l16

    Great result for the guys.

Had a tough Semi against the Germans and then beat the Japanese in the final.

I have been assured that the superstars of the team (AKA Wedge, Bartlett, and Troiano) took Brian Cawston(?) out for numerous beers last night for his stunning performance in both Semi's and Final.
