    Default MF/WF - Long Beach

    Good luck to all the Brits heading over to the Grand Prix in Long Beach starting on Friday.

    I believe JD is fencing, so I'll be following and hope he's recovered fully from injury.

    I was hoping that business would take me to the West Coast so I could hop down and take a look. Unfortunately not. I am currently buried in about a foot of snow here on the East Coast.

    Looks like;

    Tof - 5/6 wins with good indicator. Should get a bye through to the L64 tomorrow.
    Peggs - 3/6 wins. Into the prelim DE.
    MM - waiting on pool results to be posted.
    JD - 2/6 wins. Maybe a bit rusty. Waiting on the last pool results to see if he's in the Prelim 64. I think he'll make it.
    Glen O - 1 win Probably eliminated.

    James gets Safin (Safin's the #1 seed so I don't think he'll be overly happy with that!)
    Marcus gets Choupenitch
    Richard gets Lee of Korea

    James ruining a few people's days from a very low seeding - hopefully will continue tomorrow!

    Feel quite sorry for the prelim 64 opponent who should have had a relatively easy fight for the L64 and a decent seeding if he got through...

    Criticism may not be agreeable, but it is necessary. It fulfils the same function as pain in the human body. It calls attention to an unhealthy state of things.

    Unfortunately in the L8 Gorozzo came out strong and got stronger.

    Another world class result for Richard.

    In the first WF semi at 14-11 the piste lights have gone out. 1/2 a hour later and they still haven't fixed the problem!!!
