    Doesn't BYE mean the opponent gets a bye because the other fencer didn't make the cut?

    The top 16 after the poules go straight through to the L64 along with the top 16 seeds at the start of the comp. Harry moved up from =100th to 85th for the L256 so his opponent would be the 172nd ranked fencer - but the cut was at 150, so he got a bye.

    Mens Epee and Foil; Womens Foil and Sabre are particularly tough to call this year. All the weapons are quite difficult to judge but I think these are the worst to predict.

    We tried in our last episode... but jeezo it was tough.

    Great results for the Guys.

    All 4 fenced well in the pools to get good seeds and then all make it into the L64 Tableau.

    Well done guys, really solid.

    Hope to get some good wins in the Tableau.
