    Default We need your help

    SALLE OSSIAN NEEDS YOUR HELP!!!!

We have been shortlisted to win much needed £2,000 in a SportScotland/National Lottery competition.

Details of the competition and what you are voting for are here.

    https://sportfirst.sportscotland.org...ion-finalists/

The winner though will be decided by way of public vote.

Voting is really simple….all you have to do is send an email to

    thankstonationallottery@sportscotland.org.uk

with the number (1-10) and title of the entry you think should win, so:

    4 - Salle Ossian Fencing Club - Vote 4

You have until midday on Friday 1st December to vote. You can vote as many times as you wish and make sure you get all your friends, family, club and team members to vote too.

We’re hoping to get as much of the fencing community, friends and family on board to help us as possible. Please give as much time as you can to submit as many emails as possible.

Feel free to cut and paste and pass on this message.

    Many thanks.

The opposition is proving to be strong for the prize of £2000. We need everyone and everyone they know to vote as many times as they can before the deadline on Friday.

We have a very active Schools and youth programme and we are going to spend the money on some badly needed replacement masks and gloves. We will also sponsor the GB women’s sabre team at a World Cup this season. So this is a great way for you to support local and national fencing and it will cost you 10 minutes of your time for the next few days.

I do hope folks take the time to help out this club.
It took but a moment to cast this vote.
    Cheers.

    Last post from me.

Firstly, many thanks for everyone's support. But there is just over 24 hours to go and this is an unlimited no-holds-barred voting process. Particular thanks to those I know who have been putting in 1,000 votes a day - wow, fantastic, thank you!

We could really do with everyone in the fencing community putting in another 100 votes today. We have no idea what the voting situation is, but we do know we are up against some bigger clubs.

Hot tip, you can send the email, but include it again in the cc and the bcc and in effect you are sending three emails at a time. And if you have an iPhone for example, you can send it once, go in to Sent and hit Send Again as many times as you like.

I'm off to Eislingen with the GB Cadets tomorrow, so may miss the phone call if we win, but I'll let you know as soon as I know how it went.

    Hi All

It would appear that someone has set up an automated email programme that has crashed the Sportscotland server. Not against the rules, but also not in the spirit of the competition. If anyone has done this, please can we not.

    Thank you kindly.

    Hey congratulations!

Looking forward to seeing some GBR WS Team fencing again.
