Without being rude to Rugby School, that is a load of non-spherical objects!!

Let's say you live 20 miles from Rugby. That is about 7 in fuel leaving you with 20 for the day, as you will be unlikely to get much other work that day once travel time is taken into account.

And for that you have to work with beginners, experienced fencers AND develop fencing at the school!

If you are going to do something, do it well or don't do it at all.

I also object to the phrase "qualified OR experienced". I hope it also includes registered.

I posted for info only !

I am sure other peripatetic teachers are paid more. If we work for this money we devalue the whole system. But hey it may appeal to someone with the Core Coach award or Premier Sport ! Discuss ?

Many coaches in other sports work for less and therefore I suspect it is the school's basic coaching rate.

Doesn't seem likely considering they're looking for an athletics coach and are willing to pay them 25ph.

Very few people get rich coaching.

I left a job a few years back after the department in charge of sports decided that they couldn't understand why a fencing coach should be paid more than a five a side football coach and offered to cut my pay from 25ph to 10ph. I left.
