Hope they pick themselves up for the Bronze Medal match. Against USA or Italy.
Brilliant to be fencing for a medal. Very good luck.

Beaten 45-21 by USA in the 3rd place match. A tough one.

Regardless of the last 2 matches against the top teams in the World, they had great matches against Japan and Germany and 4th is a really creditable result, punching way above their weight.

    Well done guys!!

JMF just gone out to France in the L8 45-30 having made a bit of a comeback in the 7th & 8th bouts. Unfortunately a bit too late. Great effort against a strong French team.

Earlier they fenced brilliantly to defy their seeding of 11 and beat Poland 43-42 in extra-time. Superb parry riposte from De Almeida to get the final hit.

Well done. Good luck for the 5-8 placings. First up against Belgium.

8th out of 38 teams and finishing above original seeding of 11th. Seems a good effort from the MF team. Well done.
