Looks like we have a full complement in each weapon as well as 6 teams entered. Good luck to all the fencers.
“Live a good life. If there are gods and they are just, then they will not care how devout you have been, but will welcome you based on the virtues you have lived by. If there are gods, but unjust, then you should not want to worship them. If there are no gods, then you will be gone, but will have lived a noble life that will live on in the memories of your loved ones.”

Maybe need to bump this one up a bit - this is a huge result, best GBR Senior epee result since Jon Willis I think?

    Harrison ended 14th. Amazing result.

Jon won Heidenheim etc which was amazing and had a L16 at European Champs, but not sure whether he got through a 64 at the Worlds (please correct me if I am wrong).

If that is the case this is probably the best Men's Epee result at a Worlds in 20+ years or even more. I cannot remember Quinten Berriman's best Worlds result, if he had not made a last 16 then it goes back maybe 30+ years.

PS I wait to be proven wrong as my memory is pretty poor.

Been at EYCs for too long today.

Harrison's result matches Jon's at Euros in 2008.. So best in 10 years!!!

Hope Harrison can push on to repeat such performances at the World level.
