    Default Bent French grip ?

    Hi Folks,
A friend of mine (a bloody pomeller like me) has been advised to have a look at a French, French handle (from France that is) which has a bend in it (I'll try to link a picture).

I can't see much advantage over just bending the tang on a LP carbon handle.
    Any thoughts appreciated....
    Cheers
    Gerry

Be aware that if you bend the tang before fitting a carbon handle the Leon Paul spanner may be too thick to engage the nut. I have had to buy a second box spanner made of thinner material which has done the trick.

This idea pops up with a fair amount of regularity, you're as well using the LP cantilever system if you fancy having an extra bend. Looking at the shape of the picture the bend in and down slightly isn't particularly different to the shape of a standard french handle. I do like that it's aluminium but that being said if I was to start pommeling again from scratch I'd still be getting the wooden handles from Prieur.
