This is not a closed competition. Bath Sword Club welcome any county in the UK to entry this fabulous weekend of team fencing. Excalibur is the oldest and largest county team in the country.

Excalibur. 2019

Bath Sword Club invite you to enter a team for EXCALIBUR 2019 to be held on 27&28 April. It
will be held in the Founders Hall at Bath University. As per last years format the competition is
open to nine counties only.

A team consists of at least eighteen fencers: three at each weapon: Mens Foil, Womens Foil, Mens
Epee, Womens Epee, Mens Sabre and Womens Sabre. To be eligible for a County Team a fencer
must live within or be a member of a Club within the County.


Each County must provide three sets of electrical scoring apparatus. Battery boxes appreciated.
Each piece of equipment should be clearly MARKED with the County name. In order to provide a
neutral referee for all matches, each county must provide referees for each weapon.

The entry fee is 365 per County.

Southbourne Gardens, Bath BA1 6LZ. Please send your entry by 31 March 2018 at the latest.

Hereford & Worcester as last years winners have a secured place but in the event of more
than eight additional entries being received a draw will be made. No entry received after the
closing date will go into the draw.
