For budding university types. There is Exeter University Fencing Club. It has a very good social life and not a bad record in BUSA either. We do however need women to join the club as we had to pull out of the womens event this year due lack of a team.

I figure this a problem a lot of clubs have. I usually find that my own club is about 70% men and 30% women. Though I think we're closer to the 80% men at the moment.

Glasgow University fencing Club is listed with scottish fencing, but training times may be changing, as may be our policy towards non students (Sucks I know, but the sports association's busting my balls over it)

West section training nights are not listed and will be starting soon, from 6 at Glasgow caledonian university on wednesday nights.

Adding to this, does anyone know if there is a good club in Heidelberg Germany? My wife and I will be moving there in a few months from the United States and we are desperately searching for a new place to fence. Any information is helpful. Thanks in advance.

    Hi wpotere!

You might want to check out any of these links:

    Deutcher Fechterbund (German Fencing Federation).
    Fechten.de.
    Heidelberger Fechtclub.

    Good luck!
